Jake Lisac - Owner

Jake Lisac, the owner of Colonial Craftsmen Construction, Inc. founded the company on April 10, 2007. Born and raised in western New York, Jake developed a passion for carpentry when he was introduced to it in a high school shop class. He pursued that passion at Alfred State College earning an associate’s degree in construction. In 2003, Jake moved to Atlanta and began working for a local remodeling company. Later, he worked as an estimator and finally as a project manager for a small remodeling company where he had the opportunity to manage the build of 2 custom homes.

Jake is a member of Christian City Church in Lawrenceville, where he met his wife, Oceana. They married in August of 2006 and live in Lawrenceville with their 2 boxers and boston terrier. In his free time Jake enjoys spending time on Lake Lanier fishing, racing sailboats or anchored in a quiet cove.

David “Sawdust” Davis – Lead Carpenter

Originally from the Chicago area, David has been in the construction industry nearly his entire life. At 14, he began his construction career when his family built a new house. Under the supervision of his uncle, David wired the entire house. He enjoyed the experience and during school he worked summers with a local construction company. After that, he worked various jobs as a plasterer, a mason and even for Corning Glass. David moved to Georgia in the early 80’s with one of his uncles and has been doing carpentry ever since. David’s favorite area of construction is remodeling and he enjoys working with clients. In his free time, David is an avid fisherman.

Peter Jundt – Project Manager

Peter is a LEED AP, who holds a Business Administration degree from Concordia University, Wisconsin. He has more than thirty years of construction experience, which began at his father's side in his family’s construction business before he was a teenager.

Prior to joining Colonial Craftsmen, Peter gained valuable experience as a Project Director for the Piedmont Construction Group of Atlanta, GA; Project Manager and Estimator for Bukacek Construction of Racine, Wisconsin; and Senior Project Manager for Corporate Strategic Services of Dublin, Ohio. As President of Woodland Custom Homes in Sussex, WI he was responsible for all aspects of residential home construction. He also gained experience as the Buyer and Installation Coordinator for CRS Sirrine, an international architecture/engineering/construction management firm in Houston, Texas. Peter’s career began as a carpenter for Jundt Carpenter Contractor in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Peter worked on residential and commercial projects in 6 states ranging in size from simple room remodeling to a 4,000,000 sq. ft. 2 tower office complex. Some his more notable commercial projects include:

In his free time, Peter enjoys music, camping and SCUBA diving. He has been married to his wife for more than 22 years and they have a high school aged son.
