Jake Lisac - Owner

Jake Lisac is the owner of Colonial Craftsmen Construction, Inc. and founded the company on April 10, 2007. Jake was born and raised in western New York and has had a passion for carpentry since he was introduced to it in a high school shop class. He pursued that passion at Alfred State College where he earned an associates degree in construction. In 2003, Jake moved to Atlanta and began working for a remodeling company. From there, he worked as an estimator and finally as a project manager for a small remodeling company where he had the opportunity to manage the build of 2 custom homes.

Jake is a member of Christian City Church in Lawrenceville, where he met his wife, Oceana. They married in August of 2006 and live in Lawrenceville with their 3 boxers, Boss, Hope and Joe. In his free time Jake enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking & hunting.

David “Sawdust” Davis – Lead Carpenter

Originally from the Chicago area, David has been in the construction industry nearly his entire life. At 14, he began his construction career when his family built a new house. Under the supervision of his uncle, David wired the entire house. He enjoyed the experience and during school he worked summers with a local construction company. After that, he worked various jobs as a plasterer, a mason and even for Corning Glass. David moved to Georgia in the early 80’s with one of his uncles and has been doing carpentry ever since. David’s favorite area of construction is remodeling and he enjoys working with clients. In his free time, David is an avid fisherman.

Justin Beck

Justin was born in Upstate New York and moved to Georgia with his family when he was five. He began working construction for his uncle during the summers back up in New York. The summer prior to his senior year of high school he began working for a remodeling company based out of Atlanta. Justin currently attends Gwinnett Tech and is well underway to earning a degree in Residential Construction Management. He enjoys all stages of construction, but prefers building decks for many reasons. Justin is an avid bow hunter and also enjoys trout fishing, camping and anything that keeps him outside.

April Bradley

Born and raised in upstate New York, April moved to Atlanta to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Art History. After working the gallery circuit in Atlanta she is going back to school for a master’s degree in architectural and interior design. At Colonial Craftsman Construction she is learning carpentry and overall construction practices. She hopes to one day have her own design firm and become a skilled craftswoman herself. April is an avid golfer, snowboarder and loves to go hiking with her dog.

Jen Dyhr

The only native Southerner of the team, Jen relocated to the Atlanta area in 2004, after receiving her B.S. in Organizational Communications from Middle Tennessee State University. She has over 8 years in resort and multi-family real estate management experience. Jen joined our team in April and when not in the office, she enjoys a passion for music and spending time with her husband and two rescued dogs.
