Our trusted partners are our subcontractors who we’ve worked with for years and who we use on a regular basis. They are masters of their trades and they take pride in what they do. The following bios have been written by Jake Lisac, the owner of Colonial Craftsmen, to briefly describe how we know them and why we continue to work with them.
It's Your Style Tile
Miguel is the owner/operator (pictured on the right) of It’s your style tile. His father (on the left) is the cut man and is responsible for all of the intricate cuts done on the wet saw. Miguel’s wife, Jackie, handles all of the office responsibilities and their teenage daughter will be seen on occasion helping Miguel set tile or seal grout joints. They are a family run operation and are a pleasure to work with. They turn out very high quality work that is built to last.
Jon Allen Plumbing
Jon Allen and I have worked on remodeling projects together for the past five years. For those of you who have had the opportunity to meet Jon, I’m sure you’ve enjoyed it. For those of you who have yet to meet him, he will make you laugh. Jon has a passion for life that shows in everything he does. Jon employs a crew of plumbers, the lead plumber being Orlando.
Daniel Nava Painting
Daniel Nava has worked with the owner of Colonial Craftsmen for the past five years. Daniel has been a painter for his entire life, and he takes pride in what he does. Daniel usually employs a crew of two plus himself, but can bring as many as 6 skilled painters to a job if the project warrants the numbers. Daniel is one of the nicest people I’ve had the opportunity to work with and his attention to detail is like no other.
Strictly Drywall Repair
Scott Vaeth is the owner/operator of Strictly Drywall Repair. I met Scott in my past job as a project manager for a remodeling company and was very impressed with the quality of the work that he provided as well as the customer service during and after the drywall process. Good drywallers are hard to find and I’m glad to have found Scott.
One Call Electrical Services
Richard Helton was recommended to me by a fellow remodeler who has had good experiences with him. Our first project together was a kitchen remodel in Atlanta and Richard showed up on time and went above and beyond the call of duty to get the project wrapped up. Since then, Richard has taken care of our electrical needs. Richard can be classified as a “good ol’ boy” and the clients that have met Richard have enjoyed working with him.
Absolute Comfort Air
Owned by Kevin Whiddon and formerly known as Kevin’s Specialty Services Heating and Air. I met Kevin at BNI which is a networking group that we are both a part of. Since meeting Kevin, I’ve had him on quite a few job sites installing new units and replacing old ones. They do work that they are proud to stand behind and they truly care about your indoor air quality. |
